Cross Lutheran Church ELCA

Worship

Worship is at 10:30 a.m.  In worship, we practice the Kingdom of God. All are welcome, all are fed, all are met by God, all praise God, and all are sent out into the world to share God's good news. A diverse community is made into one by God and transformed into saints for the sake of the world.

There is a movement to our worship, which God directs. As described in Evangelical Lutheran Worship, we understand this movement to be:

GATHERING: The Holy Spirit calls us together as the people of God.

WORD: God speaks to us in scripture reading, preaching, and song.

MEAL: God feels us with the presence of Jesus Christ.

SENDING: God blesses us and sends us in mission to the world.

We use a variety of settings from Evangelical Lutheran Worship, and other Worship Resources. Communion is served every Sunday.

The people of Cross love to worship God. When you worship here, you can tell people are deeply participating in song and silence, reflection and interaction.
